How it works

From listing to payout.

  1. Step 01

    List

Photos, specs, day rate and the area you serve. Your calendar stays yours — open the days you want booked.

  2. Step 02

    Accept bookings

Requests arrive with date, venue and duration. You confirm the ones that fit; payment is collected online at booking.

  3. Step 03

    Deliver and operate

Bring the robot, set it up, run the session, pack up. Same deliver-and-return workflow a car rental runs every day.

  4. Step 04

    Get paid

The closing handover is signed, the session log closes, and your payout follows.

Why list your robot

An idle robot burns capital — every completed rental is revenue on hardware you already own.

Who’s doing it first:

  • micro-entrepreneurs
  • car rental companies
  • electronics shops
  • cleaning companies
  • Diversify

Add a second revenue line to a rental, retail or cleaning business you already run — same deliver-and-return workflow, new asset class.

  • Demand

Parties, promoters, schools and film crews book on one marketplace. You list once; Twoleg does the matchmaking.

  • Protection

Rentals are covered through our insurance partners, and session logs record exactly what happened, when — disputes settle on evidence, not memory.

Operating modes

You decide who holds the controls.

Standard

Operated by you

You deliver, set up and run the robot for the whole booking, then pack it up and take it home. The controls never leave your hands, and the renter gets the show without the learning curve.

You are the operator of record for the session.

Optional

Self pickup / self-operate

Offer pickup or renter operation on any listing for the hands-on crowd — hobbyists, film crews, universities. You hand over the robot; the renter handles transport or the controls.

The renter accepts responsibility for damage during transport and operation before they pay — the terms are shown at booking.

Protection

Your robot leaves home covered — handing a machine that walks to a stranger takes more than trust, so insurance, session logs and explicit terms back every rental you accept.

  • Insurance on every standard rental

Standard rentals are covered through our insurance partners. Cover and terms are visible before you accept a booking.

  • The session log is your evidence

Our software logs handover, operation and return. If something needs clarifying afterwards, the record decides — not memory.

  • Responsibility transfers in writing

On self pickup and self-operate rentals, the renter accepts liability for transport and operation damage before payment clears — every time.

Questions

What owners ask before they list.

What robots can I list?

Any commercially available humanoid you own and can operate safely — Twoleg is not tied to a single manufacturer. Each robot gets its own listing, calendar and day rate.

Do I have to operate every rental?

Standard rentals are owner-operated: you deliver, run the session and take the robot home. If you'd rather not, offer self pickup or self-operate on your listing and the renter takes over — with responsibility.

What does listing cost?

Listing is free. Twoleg takes a platform fee per completed rental; the fee is shown before you accept a booking.

What happens if the robot is damaged?

Standard rentals are covered through our insurance partners. On self pickup and self-operate rentals the renter accepts responsibility before paying, and the session log records what happened, when.

How and when do I get paid?

Renters pay online at booking. Your payout follows once the closing handover is signed and the session log closes.

Can a business list a fleet?

Yes. Car rental firms, electronics shops and cleaning companies list multiple robots — each with its own listing and calendar, managed from one account.

Put your robot to work.

Create an account, list your humanoid, and open the days you want booked. The marketplace handles the rest.
